Tower vs Tree

On Turkey Foot Road in northwestern Davie County, we have a classic show-down. On the south side of the road, on a slight rise, we have an imposing cell tower.

On the north side of the road we have another bump in the terrain, with an impressive tree.

We briefly contemplate the choices, and decide to not decide.

Loren makes a bird list, including the lovely Eastern Meadowlarks that sing so beautifully in the fields.

I admire the Cornflowers.

Vincent liked them, too.

  1. Are you just guessing, that Mr. Van Gogh was painting cornflowers? I’ve only seen them “wild” in the yard of a friend with a green thumb.
