Walking in Ballard

Due to Covid I wanted to avoid heavily populated areas on this Labor Day weekend, so I chose a neighborhood walk in Ballard, which is just north of downtown (Seattle). It was a mile to a park on an overcast, but pleasant morning.

Ballard is a very walkable neighborhood

Seattle is very polite. And friendly.

And generous!

I met some familiar friends.

My walking destination was a park that overlooks Shilshoe Bay and Marina [Puget Sound].

The return mile was just as pleasant.

There’s something quite special about an alley.
Dahlias…..

….and dinosaurs.
